2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We implement industry-standard security measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure data centers, access controls, and periodic security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, Stripe for payment processing, hosting providers, email delivery services). These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation or lawful request, (b) protect and defend our rights or property, (c) protect the safety of users or the public, or (d) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data: We may share aggregated and/or anonymized information that does not identify individuals, for analytics, reporting, or improving the Service.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Access your personal data that we hold;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to certain legal or contractual obligations that may require us to retain some information;
  • Export your data in a structured, commonly used format, where technically feasible;
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances, as permitted by law.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@usepresently.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it for longer (for example, for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, or to enforce our agreements).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Service, such as maintaining your session when you are logged in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, some parts of the Service may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children do not create their own accounts. Student data, including information about minors, is entered and managed by authorized studio administrators or parents/guardians.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information. If you believe this may be the case, please contact us at privacy@usepresently.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (such as via email or a notice within the Service) for significant changes.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.
